ONE WHOLE YEAR?? Seriously, who would have imagined we would be where we are today one year ago? Each day seems to go sooooo slooooow. And then it's Monday again, and none of the 'home improvement' items on my list are checked off! There's a lot going on right now: church camps, 4-H "fair". back to school, still working, volunteer ramping up, and personal crap... plus helping my brother put a new foundation under his old house-- definitely owe you some pics from that!! all my sibs plus all their +1s!! We have been working SO HARD, but also having so much fun. 

Anyway, the point is, we've been living at Rock Haven for one whole year today. Wow. I'm more in love with this house/property than I was the very first day. Don't get me wrong, I feel like our DIY/redecorating should be further. But holy cow, we've had so much happen! Plus, the girls and their friends are loving the bunkroom, exploring the woods and even being goofs on our pond. We are loving our newly (almost)renovated kitchen, planning all the next steps, having the animals around, making the decisions to make this house our own, and how much we feel like a family whenever we are here (which, because of COVID, has been a lot!!). 

I'm so excited for what the next year will bring, whether it's a lot or a little because-- life! But no matter, we are truly loving and cherishing our days together, and that's what really counts!
